(for more ExplodingDog art & wallpapers just keep scrolling down) Since 2000 Sam Brown has been drawing small sketches from words, phrases and sentences sent to him by anyone who writes him any. His drawings may not all make perfect sense in relation to the words or phrases which inspired him, but in a nonsensical way they are strangely entertaining and sometimes even emotionally inspiring.
We ourselves here at Hoy So have been viewing his website and artwork for a few years now and over the past few years his work has greatly improved in both areas of amusing nonsensical imagery and emotionally moving compositions. He even sometimes seems to mix up his own artistic style and will use inverse color variations or very sketchy lines and images, more recently he has started drawing a lot of his drawings by hand, but it is always done well and stands up to the standards which he has set forth by his own work. We do not know what those standards are to be honest, we simply wanted to imply that we have never been disappointed by any of his drawings as he continues to do what he does so well.
