<3 [with heart]

Our first try at a solid color fill. We will not know if it ever worked out, or healed up well, because the subject of this love bled a fair amount... and apparently went swimming the next day for a couple of hours. We might refuse to touch this up on principle.

The GingerBread Man!

Our first use of color. So many needles and grips used for so little ink... but damn, is he cute or what?

Alright, alright!
So his right leg* appears to be dancing, or maybe he is sitting at an angle, and perhaps those buttons are not perfectly circular but get off our back. It's a GingerBread man, and it is damn cute!
*HIS right leg, not the leg to your right, so don't argue that it's his left, it's your left.

Our lines suck, but with a style and class befitting only that of an amateur [bad-ass].

He Whose OX is Gored!

We never knew you could bruise someone simply by tattooing them, but surprise, surprise... you can! Where it looks like the ink may have bleed, she is actually just bruised from the tattooing.

Session Three [Tino]: Right Foot Completed

This foot needed to be touched up later due to inattentiveness of care during healing. We also experienced an unexplainable difficulty in tattooing over some of the toe-knuckles, and in other areas the black scabbed and healed over a little faint.
Solid color fill is challenging, annoying and irritating (as well as painful) and for some reason, so much fun!

Session Two [Tino]: Left Foot Completed

We had never used shading needles before this tattoo, even on ourselves. It was an adventure both in learning and pain.

Session One [Tino]: First Tattoo [of subject other than self]

Although we have tattooed ourselves a few times, much learning took place this day as to just how to set up the gun to keep it running properly and how to apply it and tattoo in a manner that would be as gentle (and inflict as little pain) as possible.
This session took three hours. The red blood you see is from the subject's inability to shave his own foot.
