Sheepy, the Stray Sheep

As it turns out, thanks to this Wiki page and some smart Googling, the Stray Sheep live on! Remember those cute little Screen Mate Sheep that would wander around your computer monitor back in the 90's and get in the way all the time, as well as eat up your computers memory slowing down it's performance? They Live On!

As it turns out they were created by a Japanese company to promote the Stray Sheep Franchise and the program
Screen Mate Poe (not "Poo" as is in the program details for some reason or another) was for sale up until 2000 from their website. It is no longer for sale sadly but again, with some smart googling, we were able to find it and an image we turned into a computer wallpaper for you, just incase the little sheep wandering around your screen are not enough!

800x600 & 1024x768 resolutions ought to save and use the 1400x1050 image for a proper fit!

1280x1024 ~ 1400x1050 ~ 1680x1050

Those who desire to have those little sheep once again roam around their computer screens, please, right click the little napping sheep below and save the target as. From there just double click the sheep program to have up to nine sheep wander your screen playfully. If you want them to go away, just double right click the individual sheep. If you want the sheep to live a little livelier, double left click them and turn on the sound (you will need to turn on the sound for each individual sheep you have on the screen at once) and they will baa, sneeze, yawn, and do all sorts of great things!

you have to love these sheep
