Calvin & Hobbes is without a doubt the most influential literary material we ourselves, and undoubtedly many of you, have ever read in all our lives.

Ever since we discovered the cartoon (created by Bill Watterson) we have been huge fans. We collected all of his books and collections as they came out and admire them to this day deeply. We are certain many of you feel the same, and like us, may no longer have those collections (regrettably) but instead own the Complete Calvin & Hobbes Collection which thankfully includes all of the material from every printed collection, every Sunday in full color, additional drawings, artwork and more (unlike a similar 'complete' collection of Far Side cartoons which, word has it, is short material from their 10th anniversary publication).

There is not a whole lot to say about Calvin & Hobbes that any true fan would not already know. We here at Hoy So know exactly where we were when the last strip was printed on a Sunday morning. We can not tell you much about that day at all, only one thing mattered to us and we were in our parents kitchen flipping through the comics to find the final end all of Calvin & Hobbes cartoon strips. We were hoping for an incredibly grand climax, something to make us smile, something to make us understand why it had to all come to an end and what we found was a heartfelt goodbye to all of us fans, from Calvin & Hobbes and Bill Watterson himself, that will leave Calvin & Hobbes forever immortalized.
