If you peruse the internet at all chances are you have already seen some of his work even if you have never heard of him. One of his more popular works, Rejected, has been divided up into dozens of short clips that flood the internet as icons, short animated gif's and video clips. Don Hertzfeldt emerged into his popularity with Billy's Balloon, a glorious short film about the hidden secret dangers of balloons, and perhaps became immortalized with his later work Rejected.
