Here at Hoy So put our collective knowledge of vodka not just to our shot glasses (how clever was that) but to this website to bring you a better view of all the options available to you. There are a lot of things to look at when vodka shopping outside of just price and prestige, because neither make a vodka good, or good vodka.

There is also a lot of advertising bull shit out there about what is good and what is not. Advertising does not make anything what they say it is, the vodka does, and we just want to share what we know the vodka to really be like. Sadly we can not and will not bring to you ever a report on SKYY vodka. It unfortunately causes us to vomit uncontrollably and therefore would influence us to write a biased report. Why it does this to us we are not sure, all we know is we avoid it like hell for that reason.

Below is an alphabetical listing of available vodkas and their rating on our own proofing scale (availability and prices of course may vary at your local liquor store). We are however no longer doing any reviews, well, perhaps one, we want to review Stoli Blackberry because god damn that is delicious vodka (in fact, we practically drink it straight, something we have not done in years). But honestly, we have cut back in our consumption a lot and our review system has changed also (we are no longer willing to drink an entire fifth of vodka in one evening anymore).
