To ensure that you earn your deserved Star Commendations and no one else is accidentally honored them, you will be asked to submit your birthdate along with your name (first and last) or alias. This way, if any names or alias's turned in match any already on our list, we can use your birthday as a password to keep your earned Star Commendations from being given, or honored, to anyone but yourself.

As for your privacy, your birthdate will be shared with no one, merely kept for our own private records and in keeping this Gold Star Commendation list organized.

In the event that you submit a name or alias that already appears in our Star Commendation list, you will be asked to pick a new alias so that you can have your own private identity on this page so as to keep track of your own Star Commendations yourself (and so that you can rub it in the faces of those who have less than you). Your Star Commendations will also be kept for one year, from the month you last earned any. If 13 months pass without you earning a new Star Commendation your Commendations will be considered expired and removed from this site. Your given name/alias will be erased and your birthdate forgotten by us forever. You can still earn more at any time and resubmit your name/alias and birthdate, but any lost commendations can not be returned. This is to help us keep this list well organized and current. It will hopefully thin out anyone who decides they are no longer our fans or wants anything but the year-long recognition of their Commendation for their participation with Hoy So in some manner.

It was brought to our attention that those who earn a lot of Gold Stars should win something. We like that idea, but have yet to decide how many Gold Stars you must earn to win anything, and what you could win for earning a lot of Gold Stars.
